From the first issue of EIR being published from September 1991 it received wide applause from the concerned circles. The magazine day by day kept improving its quality of reading material as well as the advertisements also increased. The printing quality also kept improving. The magazine was tremendously improved from the year 2000. This magazine always depended on regular issues. It also publishes supplements occasionally of very larger size. In the year 2007, we published a supplement on HVACR (Heating, Ventilation, Air-conditioning and Refrigeration) of 412 pages; it was exclusively devoted to HVACR technology, which is a subject of mechanical engineering. This supplement was the largest issue ever published till now in the world. It has been sent to the Guinness Book of the World Record for inclusion in its record book.
 
In the year 2007, the magazine EIR won the Best Media Coverage Award from the Pakistan HVACR Society as well as the Chief Editor, Dr. Aftab Ahmed Iraqui was awarded shield of appreciation from the Pakistan HVACR Society of his dedicated services for organizing successful events of Pakistan HVACR Society and he was also awarded appreciation for his dedicated services to the ASHRAE (American Society for Heating, Refrigerating & Air-Conditioning Engineers Inc., USA) as coordinator chapter program, (2006-2007). In the same year (2007), EIR also received 50 years of Engineering Excellence Award from the Institution of Engineers Pakistan, (IEP) in Lahore on eve of 50 years of IEP.
 
It was also adjudged best Engineering Magazine of Pakistan by the “Brands Of The Year Award 2008” committee and on 25th November 2008, Prime Minister of Pakistan, Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani presented to EIR Best Brands of the year Award 2008. The EIR was also rated as A+ company in the year 2008.
 
The Engineering & Industrial Review (EIR) also received in the year 2009 “Merit Export Award 2009” in the category of “Press & Publications of Pakistan”. This award was given at 33rd FPCCI Export Awards 2009 ceremony on 14th November 2009 by the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani.
 
EIR has been adjudged again “Best Engineering Magazine of Pakistan” by the Brand of the year Award 2009 committee. This award was given by the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on 7th May 2010. Dr. Aftab Ahmed Iraqui the Chief Editor and C.E.O. of Engineering & Industrial Review was also given the “Brand Scientist Medal Award” by the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on 7th May 2010. The Brand Award Council of Pakistan also declared Dr. Aftab Ahmed Iraqui, the Chief Editor and C.E.O. of Engineering & Industrial Review (EIR) as “The Best Brand Guardian”. The EIR has also maintained its rating as A+ Company in 2009 till now.
 
The Pakistan HVACR Society on 21st March 2010 also presented “Best Engineering Magazine of Pakistan Award” to EIR. The Pakistan HVACR Society also honored Dr. Aftab Ahmed Iraqui the Chief Editor and C.E.O. of Engineering & Industrial Review (EIR) by presenting a plaque for his dedicated services to the engineering sector in Pakistan.
 
The Institution of Electrical & Electronics Engineers Pakistan (IEEEP) Karachi Centre also awarded shield to Dr. Aftab Ahmed Iraqui the Chief Editor and C.E.O. of Engineering & Industrial Review (EIR) for his dedicated services to IEEEP Karachi Centre at Electrofair 2010 on 23rd September 2010.
 
By the Grace of Almighty Allah, Engineering & Industrial Review (EIR) has also received the “Merit Export Award 2010” in the category of “Press & Publications of Pakistan” at 34th FPCCI Export Awards 2010 ceremony of The Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce & Industry by the President of Pakistan, Mr. Asif Ali Zardari.
